Who can use it
The right shelf for each team.
Give a source to everyone, or only to chosen teams. Moving a source into a folder with narrower access asks first, so nothing disappears by surprise.
- Everyone at ACME
- Only these teams: Sales
Library
Your files, pages and price lists, in folders. You choose who may use each one, and every answer shows where it came from.
The Library is what MaryAI and Risti’s AI help answer from. Add files and web pages, sort them into folders and choose which teams may use each source. Answers cite the lines they used; sources unused for 30 days are flagged, and you can pause one, check it again or see where it was used.
Ask the shelf
Ask a question; the answer cites the exact lines it used, and “Answer as” checks what one team may see.
Example answer from example sources. In Risti, “Try it” works the same way on your own shelf.

Keeping it fresh
See which sources are used and which aren’t. Pause one, check a page again, or let “unused for 30 days” remind you.
Questions
Files, web pages and saved replies, sorted into folders. Files can be PDF, Word (DOCX), plain text or Markdown, up to 25 MB each and 100 files. Web pages must be public and on HTTPS: one page, or a page and the pages it links to, up to 50 pages per site, for up to 20 sites and 200 pages in all. Risti respects robots.txt, checks pages again every day and right away when you press Check now.
No. MaryAI and Risti’s AI help answer only from the sources on your shelf, and your team sees which source and lines each answer used. When the answer is not on the shelf, they don’t guess: MaryAI says she isn’t sure and takes a message or passes the customer to a person. MaryAI always tells customers she is an AI.
Yes. Each source is for everyone or only for the teams you choose. Moving a source to a folder with narrower access asks you first. “Try it” with “Answer as” shows what a team’s answers would use.
Yes. Anyone who reads chats can open “What Risti can use for you” to see the sources open to them, and try a question as themselves. Adding, moving and pausing sources is for people who manage the Library, owners and admins by default.
Yes, when an owner gives the key that permission. A key only holds permissions its creator has, and some are never given to a key at all, such as billing, calls and recordings.
